ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Academic entry requirements:
- Undergraduate Programmes (BSc, BA, BEng/ MEng)
A Levels: A minimum of 3 A Levels.
International Baccalaureate: International Baccalaureate Diploma holders will be considered for direct admission to undergraduate programmes.
- Postgraduate Taught Programmes (MA, MSc)
Holders of a good bachelor's degree from a recognised university will be considered for direct admission to postgraduate diploma and master's programmes. Most postgraduate courses require a UK 2:1 (2.8/4.0 or 70% from prestigious institutions in Thailand; 3.0/4.0 or 70% from other recognised institutions), but some courses may consider 2:2 grades (2.65/4.0 or 64% from prestigious institutions in Thailand; 2.8/4.0 or 64% from other recognised institutions).
English Language Requirements:
- Undergraduate programmes:
IELTS: 6.0 overall (with no band score lower than 5.5).
TOEFL: 80 overall (with a minimum of 17 in listening, 18 in reading, 20 in speaking, and 17 in writing).
PTE: 56 overall (with a minimum of 51 for all skills).
- Postgraduate programmes:
IELTS: 6.5 overall (with no band score lower than 6.0).
TOEFL: 88 overall (with a minimum of 19 in listening, 20 in reading, 22 in speaking, and 19 in writing).
PTE: 61 overall (with a minimum of 56 for all skills).

- International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship 2025 - Sheffield is offering 75 scholarships worth £10,000 towards your tuition fees for each year of your undergraduate degree (subject to you maintaining a 60% average grade). This means the award is worth up to £30,000 for three year courses and up to £40,000 for four year courses.
- International Undergraduate Scholarship 2025 - Sheffield is offering scholarships of up to £2,500 to international students starting an undergraduate course in September 2025. This means the award is worth up to £7,500 for three year courses and up to £10,000 for four year courses.
